NOTO – SICILY

This villa is located within in the Vendicari nature reserve just minutes from the beach by foot. 

Designed in a contemporary mediterranean style with a focus on using only natural materials this villa required a complete renovation of the interior including rewiring, plumbing and flooring.  However, due to various planning regulations no modifications could be made to the size of the property or the location of existing doors or windows.  The majority of the natural stone used in the project was sourced within Sicily and highly experienced local craftsmen constructed bespoke elements, including the kitchen and all other cabinetry. The walls, ceilings and bathrooms are coated in a resistant clay product lending a uniform yet artisan finish to the project.

We were also responsible for the landscaping surrounding the property. This involved bringing in two tonnes of natural stone to create new levels and multiple zones were created using a combination of drought tolerant, aromatic and tropical plants.
